Privacy Policy

eslworkout ("we", "us") is designed so that we don't need your personal data to serve you. This policy explains what little data is involved when you use the site.

1. No account, no personal data

eslworkout has no sign-up, no email capture and no user profiles. We cannot see your workout history, your level or your streak — that data never leaves your device.

2. Local storage (your browser)

Your level, streak, completed workouts and plan checkboxes are saved in your browser's localStorage using keys prefixed eslw_. This data stays on your device, is not transmitted to us, and is cleared when you clear your browser data. Switching browsers or devices starts a fresh log.

3. Google Analytics 4

We use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-2BRQEVSQF5) to understand aggregate traffic: which pages are visited, roughly where visitors are, and how the site performs. Google Analytics sets cookies and may process a pseudonymous identifier and device/usage data under Google's Privacy Policy. You can opt out via the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on or browser privacy settings.

4. Cookies

The site itself sets no cookies and works without them. Two third parties may set cookies in your browser when you browse eslworkout:

• Analytics cookies (e.g. _ga) set by Google Analytics as described above.
• Advertising cookies that may be set by Google AdSense and its advertising partners when an ad is served on a page, so that ads can be measured and (where you have consented to it) personalised to your interests.

5. Advertising and your choices

eslworkout is free and is supported by advertising, served through Google AdSense. Ad slots appear only on editorial article pages, never inside the practice and quiz areas (the workout, level test and exercise pages carry no ad slots at all).

Where the law or Google's policies require consent — for example for visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland — ads are requested only after you make a choice in the consent message (a Google-certified consent management platform) shown on your first visit, and you can change or withdraw that choice at any time from the link on the page or in the message itself.

You can control personalised advertising at any time: use the consent message described above, or manage your Google ad settings at adssettings.google.com, or opt out of personalised advertising from participating vendors at aboutads.info. When ad personalisation is off, ads may still be shown but are not based on your browsing history.

6. Third-party services

The site is a static website. External requests are limited to Google Analytics (measurement), Google AdSense (pagead2.googlesyndication.com, advertising and the consent message described above) and, where used, your browser's built-in text-to-speech (which runs locally). 7. Children

eslworkout is a general-audience learning tool for adult learners, students and teachers. It is not directed at children under 13, does not knowingly collect personal information from children, and no ad personalisation is requested for child-directed contexts. Because we collect nothing, there is nothing to delete — but if you have concerns, contact us.

8. Changes

If this policy changes materially (for example, if a paid tier with cloud sync is introduced), we will update this page and note the new date above.
